  • What does a selftape recording session involves?

If you’re in the Montreal area, it’s simple: just bring your phone!

I provide professional lighting and a tripod — all that’s missing is your talent.

Once you contact me, we’ll determine a time block suited to your audition scenes.
The goal is for you to leave with multiple high-quality takes.

With precise coaching and clear artistic direction, the result will be of professional standard, ready to edit and submit.

You can bring someone to read lines with you, so that I can concentrate on the coaching, or I can do it myself if needed.

I also offer coaching in french.

  • If I only have one hour, is that enough?

Absolutely! 

We’ll focus on efficiency while maintaining quality.


The key is that I receive all necessary information about your scenes beforehand so we can start immediately.

A lot can be accomplished in one hour.

  • How much does it costs? Can you do the editing for me?

The rate is $70/hour for self-tape recording. All costs are included.

As for editing, I can guide you with advices, tips, and let you on the right path, but I generally cannot edit the tape myself due to time constraints (or for an additional fee that we can discuss beforehand).

However, I will clearly identify the best takes and guide you through your final selections.

You remain fully autonomous and free of choice.

  • I'm too far from Montreal, can you still coach me?

Yes! I can coach you online, and guide your selftape remotely. It's better if you have someone to read the lines for you, because the sound will be better than the video call audio.

  • What does a selftape recording session involves?

You must arrive with your lines memorized.

 

My goal is to present your best performance.

For this, it's best if you've already prepared beforehand, particularly in terms of text analysis, identifying the given circumstances, and creating the character's world.

 

If you don't know how to prepare for all of this, I can teach you in private coaching sessions or help you prepare for the role before filming the self-tape.

 

For my part, I will have reviewed the breakdown and your audition scenes, and I can guide you based on what the casting director is asking for.

 

I will also have the lights and tripod ready; all you'll need is your phone.

 

We'll start either with a rehearsal or by filming the first take, depending on your level of preparation and the time available.

 

We'll make sure you can send the best shots, and that the depth of your acting shows on screen!
